PROJECTS:
Big chunky, punk rock seating was part of an Artscape project where I created a 1980s vibe to commemorate the year the festival started—1982! I had the seating wheat pasted with reproductions of vintage punk flyers that often pre-dated 1982, but that detail didn’t matter.

The best thing about this is that I happened to be walking by when the ultimate model had just taken a moment to blend in.

PROJECTS:

Cleaning my studio and found all these Wilma Martinez cards. Wilma is still my muse and its interesting to see that even four years ago I was thinking of Life Coaching and now I’m doing it.

This is the ad I posted online when I decided to start booking talent for a regular party I used to do a while back. Note the water taxi reference at the bottom.  At the time I designed this, there was a horrible squall in the harbor and it flipped over a water taxi and several people died. I was promising something even more glamorous than that—WHAT could that possibly have been?!

I’m due for putting a Stuff No. 2 together. No. 1 exists only in an edition of 1.
Stuff! This package contains a copy of my poster zine Gordo!, a copy of my tiny zine Bone Detective, a movie still from my short film APE, an 8”x8” mounted print of one of my Polaroids, 2 buttons, a screen print of Wilma Martinez, a Suppositories flyer and other cool stuff!
