During the mid-late 80s, I spent countless hours at the Strand in San Francisco. The programming was amazing, with different double or triple features playing daily…I would spend 3-4 days per week here watching everything from Fellini to Russ Meyer to George Romero to old Bette Davis movies. Then at some point it turned to porn full time instead of just gay porn on Wednesdays.
