DAVEY! Tourist Trap, 1979

I have been kind of obsessed with the movie Tourist Trap for over 25 years. It was one of those movies that would play often during the early days of Showtime and pay cable tv.  It’s surprisingly scary for having only a PG rating, but the thing that takes it into the realm of the seriously awesome and creepy is … Davey.

Davey is many things. He is big and horribly scary. He is a harmless child playing with dolls. He is a sexy she-bitch. He’s glamorous. He’s psychotic. He’s super stylish. He’s a chameleon. He’s even telekinetic.

Thanks for the inspiration. I love you, Davey!

Quite a spiffy little horror. I’d love to have one of these in a tweed.
