BRAND X #1
32pp; 5.25” x 8”
Risograph Printed on newsprint by Tiny Splendor in Los Angeles.
Edition of 100

ORDER HERE!

I’m psyched to finally release a beautifully printed zine filled with some of the handmade collages and ideas that I’ve been working on for the past year. A few things I am obsessed with are fear tactic marketing, consumption, corruption in high places and the smoke and mirror culture that we live in…and COOL GRAPHICS, so take a look and grab one while you can.

About the printing: The lovely folks at Tiny Splendor Press were indeed collaborators in the production of this art zine. Their risograph printing process, creative binding and our decision to use newsprint not only gives Brand X a unique one-of-a-kind quality and handmade look and feel, but plays to the materials used in each of the individual collages represented in the book.

Little Finger.

Issues 3 & 4 of Little Joe! Yay! #jaynecounty #zine

TV Hustler. From my library. #zine #trannies

SEX, SHOCKS & SADISM. 1995. Published by Todd Tjersland.

An A-Z guide to erotic horror films on videocassette.  This is a pretty dense reference book with a good amount of Nazi Atrocity, Asian and Category III entries. House of Whipcord cover art!

Two Kittens. This little 24 page art book I made about ten years ago is just brimming with sexual tension!

MAU MAU. Ecco No. 19, Fall/Winter 1993.

An interview with me in the current issue of Bananas Magazine, a cool, mostly music, zine out of Brooklyn. We talk about cults, zombies, NY and some of my past projects.

DREADFUL PLEASURES #12. 1997

WANK-A-THON NO. 1 - Huckle Murry

Front and inside cover. I dig Huckle’s style. I would post a link to where you can buy this zine, but I can’t find it. I probably have the info at work if anyone is interested.

"The World’s Newest Photos" by Huckle Murry.

FUCK MAGAZINE No. 11, 1997.

This is easily the most offensive piece of filth I have ever seen. Publisher Dr. Randall Phillip, shit out this zine in the 90s. This is the only issue in my collection and it’s hard to find any information about the publishing history or how many issues are in existence, but believe me having a single issue in my collection is enough.

You have to wonder if he published this for shock value, but a little research  leads me to believe he just hates everything and everyone. The redeeming value is that nobody is spared, though hateful as it is.  Racist, homophobic—- you can’t even simply call him misogynistic because he hates everyone. A couple articles in this issue, “Brain Damaged Retard”, “Shit From the Womb”, “Kike Faggot Confesses to Pervert’s Murder” and many other unmentionables. The illustrations are as offensive as the thoughts behind the pictures.

COUNT ME OUT - T. REILLY HODGSON

Film photographs from 2000-2010. Blood of the Young zine. Aug. 2010. Edition of 45. Front and inside cover.

SEWN - SHAWN “AKO” WISENANT

Hand sewn collage and photography zine. Edition of 100. Front and inside front cover.

SANTO STREET Number 9. April, 1996.
